London's nightlife is as diverse as the city itself. No other part of the city is more active than the West End. The areas around Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Covent Garden and Soho are packed with pubs, bars and night clubs. If you want to go where the Londoners go, head for Camden Town or Islington in North London, or Hoxton and Shoreditch in the East End.

If you prefer culture rather than clubbing, the London theater scene is unrivalled around the rest of Europe. Tickets can be pricy, but you can get discounted tickets on the same day of the performance at the TKTS ticket booth at Leicester Square. Make sure to shop around though, as you can sometimes get better deals elsewhere.

London is host to many live events and concerts, be it a rock concert at Wembley Arena, a classical performance at The Royal Albert Hall, a pop fest at Earl's Court Exhibition Center or an open air concert in Hyde Park, host to some of the greatest concerts ever held in the capital.
